With the CAQ in hand it is possible to apply for a temporary student visa , online or in person at one of the VAC - the exclusive service provider for the Government of Canada, authorized to accept applications throughout Brazil.  They also have form filling help services.

The consulate will probably request a medical examination. It's pretty simple to do, but it's good to count another month in advance before the trip.
