Study  +Work

Under the Canadian government's new June 2014 law, language courses are no longer entitled to a work permit . However, specialization or technical courses were faster to allow the student to start working, which used to take more than six months, today it has been since the student arrives.

All you need to do is go to one of the places accredited by the government to get a social security number, which will be requested by the employer.

To be entitled to a work permit, the course must meet the following criteria:

1- Duration greater than six months

2- Full time

3- Participate in the list of institutions registered by the government of Canada . All schools we work for participate in the list.

You can check it out in full through the government website:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-institutions-list.asp

During the period you are studying you can work for up to 20 hours/week
and 40/hours per week when on vacation. Here it is very common that in the summer session  (4months) no classes and long vacations.

MARRIED OR STABLE UNION

If you are married or with a proven stable relationship (just go to a registry office and register) he/she can work full time while you study and can also apply for a work visa if you are going to apply.
